I'm an award-winning wildlife and adventure photographer, filmmaker and author, with a particular fondness for remote places, unpredictable animals and situations that don't always go to plan.

I've spent the past decade travelling to some of the wildest corners of the planet, learning that the best moments rarely announce themselves. A fleeting encounter, an unexpected behaviour, a brief break in the clouds. In the wild, there are no second takes.

My adventures have taken me from the Antarctic Peninsula with National Geographic to the northern Norwegian fjords in pursuit of orca, the Canadian Arctic in search of polar bears, and the remote wilderness of Greenland and Svalbard to find walrus. Along the way, I've photographed everything from Arctic foxes to African elephants, recorded humpback whales, sperm whales and fin whales beneath the surface, and found myself stranded in the Arctic Ocean. All in the name of getting the shot.

Before swapping marketing meetings for questionable expedition food, I spent almost a decade working in brand marketing at William Grant & Sons. That experience still shapes how I approach photography and filmmaking: with an eye for the story, an understanding of the audience and a healthy appreciation for the planning required when absolutely nothing goes to plan.

With roots in the Amazon, a lifelong curiosity about the natural world and a camera that's rarely out of reach, I'm happiest somewhere remote, waiting for something extraordinary to happen.

The world is full of stories worth telling. I'm just trying to be in the right place when they happen.
